Kolkata restaurants put up special screens for IPL 6

Catering to youngsters, the tea cafe The Tea Trove on Sarat Bose Road will do the special screening of the matches on a giant projector screen for all 51 days.

Kolkata: Giant screens go up all over the city as Kolkata cricket enthusiasts arm up for the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches that kick off here at the Eden Gardens April 3.

Restaurants across the city are putting up projector screens and extra LCD screens to create a stadium-like aura where guests can savour every moment of the match on the big-screen.

Caught n Bowled in City Centre mall, in the satellite township of Salt Lake, is doing up its interiors to create a whole new ambience, equipped with a projector and an extra LCD screen for all the matches, according to its official Pradip Majumder.
