With two runs needed from the final delivery of the match, Ravindra Jadeja thought he had hauled out to third man. Yet, the umpire's arm was outstretched and Chennai had claimed a four-wicket win over Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk with a ball to spare.
Jadeja was declared Man of the Match for keeping his nerve in the final over. "I'm confident about my batting and have been working very hard with my coaches."
A lot has been said on the social media on Jadeja getting 'knighted' by his teammates. But the 24-year-old shrugged it off as just a 'prank'.
