Chasing 195 for victory versus the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday, the Royal Challengers batting effort ended in a whimper ultimately finishing at 136 for seven, 58 runs short.

A chorus of boos greeted RCB skipper Virat Kohli as he walked up to speak at the post-match presentation ceremony. "They (the Wankhede Stadium crowd) have probably forgotten that I play for India as well. The IPL is not the end of the world," said a miffed Kohli. "The crowd has jeered others at this stadium as well."

"But, we were outplayed by Mumbai in the match," added Kohli. "The top four batsmen (Gayle, Dilshan, AB de Villiers and Kohli) are not going to fire in every match. Hopefully we can regroup and bounce back in the next game."
