At the brand new Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, Delhi Daredevils beat Pune Warriors by 15 runs to climb off the foot of the table in place of their opponents.

Delhi posted 164/5 in their 20 overs, aided by a 25-ball 51 by David Warner, who was declared Man of the Match as well. "We have the firepower in our batting and are finally performing well," said Warner at the post-match presentation ceremony.

"I love slotting in the middle-order. It takes the pressure off me and I have the freedom to play my shots. The wicket at Raipur was good for playing shots and I hope we can carry this momentum in to the next few games as well," added Warner.
