Gambhir says 'stupid' on his part to get run-out but Kolkata Knight Riders need to pull up socks

Kolkata skipper Gautam Gambhir lamented the fact that his team was not playing in unison. Either the bowlers or the batsmen floundered to hand the opposition an advantage. Against Delhi, it were the latter at fault.

Delhi inflicted a 7-wicket defeat on Kolkata after being set a target of 136. "We need to play some better cricket. (We are) Just not playing well as a unit. We have not been consistent as a team. Some days we are bowling well, some days batting well," he said.

He also regretted his run-out, just the second ball of their innings. Gambhir has been the in-form batsman and his dismissal without facing a delivery on Wednesday was a big setback.
