Just when it looked like Rajasthan Royals' bastion will be finally conquered, Shane Watson stepped up to counter-attack and take his team past Chennai Super Kings. For the Australian all-rounder, his knock of 70 off 34 was like a dream with all his plans working to perfection.
Speaking to iplt20.com after Sunday's match, the 31-year-old said that while batting in the middle-order took him a while to adjust to, it eventually came off extremely well.
"It took me a little while to get going. I knew we had to start to take a few risks and when I did, it started to come off nicely, so it was just one of those days you dream off that everything you try, every shot that you are hoping for comes your way and it did on Sunday night," he said.
