In an exclusive chat with NDTV, N Srinivasan was adamant that he had "done nothing wrong" and would not quit as the chief of the BCCI.

"I have done nothing wrong. It is the media that is baying for my blood and some political parties are after my resignation," said Srinivasan to NDTV. "The media could have been a lot fairer to us. I think they have gone overboard." (Read: Who said what)

"This entire demand for my resignation has been orchestrated by some vested interests. It may be convenient for some people to not have me in the BCCI," he added but refused to divulge any names. "I have done nothing wrong as president of the BCCI during my tenure and there is no question of me stepping down."
