Kolkata Knight Riders' co-owner Shah Rukh Khan was at his jovial best as he joined his Indian Premier League winning side on Tuesday to celebrate and showcase their trophy here.
Saying that he had been asked if he felt vindicated after the win, the Bollywood superstar said it was, actually, all about hard-work. "I am here to take the brickbats. People do also clap the loudest for me without realising the actual work that goes into all of this," he told NDTV.
Saying that the feeling of winning the coveted trophy was sinking in gradually, he said that it was more about how the players were feeling than his own emotions. "I am actually more concerned about how Gautam and all the other boys are feeling. I had never really done anything in this."
Asked if this was his biggest hit, Shah Rukh said: "The biggest is always the next. This one is big too."
