Mumbai: Mumbai Indians have not required the services of any of their explosive batsmen like Andrew Symonds and Kieron Pollard in the three Indian Premier League (IPL) matches of the fourth season they have played so far, thanks to some spectacular power-hitting by skipper Sachin Tendulkar and Ambati Rayudu at the top.
Rayudu has been sensational from the start and has scored 130 runs, which includes two half-centuries in his three innings so far. He clearly has the hunger to succeed.
"I'm glad that I have done so well and I just want to carry forward the momentum. The tournament has only begun. There is still a long way to go," Rayudu told MiD DAY on the eve of the clash against Pune Warriors at the Wankhede Stadium.
