New Delhi: The Indian Premier League matches have come under a cloud of security threats with sources revealing that the LeT and the Indian Mujahideen might plan an attack.
The Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore is being considered as the most sensitive location with the Madhya Pradesh government already informing the Home Ministry about the situation and has in turn, been directed to step up security measures. "We are not taking any chances on whatever information we have received. So, we have alerted the Madhya Pradesh government to take all necessary security measures immediately," a Home Ministry official said.
The intelligence inputs received by the Home Ministry hint at strong possibilities of a strike in the wake of recent developments in the Indian sub-continent.
