No money demanded by police for security: HPCA officials

Dharamsala: The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association on Saturday, clarified that the state police have not demanded Rs 70 lakh from the HPCA for providing security during the third India-England ODI to be played here on January 27.

"It's not a correct news that HP police have demanded Rs 70 lakh for providing security to HPCA for the India-England match," said Sanjay Sharma, PRO, HPCA.

"The state police have not demanded any money, and we too hope that these services shall be given to us as per the need," he added.
