Hyderabad: The parents of rising shuttler PV Sindhu on Sunday expressed happiness over their daughter winning the bronze medal in Commonwealth Games.

"We are happy and glad. She has done well for her age. She can do even better," Sindhu's father PV Ramana, a former volleyball international, told PTI.

Asked for Sindhu's reaction, he said she would have probably liked to win gold. (Sindhu Wins CWG Bronze)
