Mexico: Spaniards Nicolas Almagro and David Ferrer both won Friday to advance to the final of the Mexican Open, where Almagro will be trying to capture his third straight ATP title.
Almagro, the No. 3 seed, beat Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil 7-6 (4), 6-4 in the semifinals for his 13th straight victory.
Almagro won titles in Argentina and Brazil the last two weeks. If he captures the Mexico trophy on Sunday, it would be his 10th ATP title overall — all on clay.
