Top-seeded Anastasia Myskina continued to rebound from the Fed Cup final by reaching the Sunfeast Open quarterfinals on Thursday. Myskina, who lost both points in Russia's 3-2 win over France in last weekend's Fed Cup final, put away countrywoman Galina Voskoboeva 6-0, 6-1. Myskina has dropped only two games in two matches. Second-seeded Elena Likhovtseva booked her place in the final eight with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Sunitha Rao of the United States. Likhovtseva dropped service twice in the opening set against 161st-ranked Rao, but broke back three times to win it, and three more times in the second set. "I was having problems with my service early on, but it improved in the second and I managed to play the crucial points better," Likhovtseva said. No. 7-seeded Karolina Sprem of Croatia was stretched by Puerto Rico's Vilmarie Castellvi before prevailing 7-5, 3-6, 6-1 in their second-round contest. Two Italian seeds lost: No. 4 Maria Elena Camerin fell to Sybille Bammer of Austria 1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-3, and No. 5 Antonella Serra Zanetti was bundled out by Sofia Arvidsson of Sweden 6-2, 6-1. Arvidsson will meet Likhovtseva in the quarterfinals, Myskina plays India's Shikha Uberoi, Sprem faces Hungary Melinda Czink, and Bammer takes on Estonia's Kaia Kanepi.
