Hamburg:
Eighth seed Andre Agassi joined compatriot Andy Roddick on the sidelines after being knocked out in the first round of the Hamburg Masters in Germany on Tuesday. Following Roddick's elimination on Monday, Agassi lost 6-2, 7-6, (7-5) to Spain's Feliciano Lopez. But third seed Marat Safin, fourth seed Gaston Gaudio and 10th seed Guillermo Coria had no such problems. Coria beat American Vince Spadea 6-0, 6-2 in a one-sided match, while Gaudio saw off Spain's David Sanchez 6-2, 6-2. Safin was just as clinical, handing Spaniard Alberto Martin a 6-1, 6-0 a thrashing defeat. (AP)Topics mentioned in this article
