Indian Wells, USA: Second-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland booked her quarter-final berth at Indian Wells on Tuesday with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Alize Cornet.

France's Cornet, who stunned world number one Serena Williams in the semi-finals at Dubai last month, rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the opening set, breaking Radwanska twice as she won four straight games to take a 5-4 lead. (Also read: When Maria Sharapova was shown the door at Indian Wells)
