Leander Paes on Split With Rhea Pillai, Custody Battle for Daughter Aiyana

Despite his personal life in turmoil, Leander Paes says he is ready to play in Champions Tennis League and adds that he will do his best in 'all walks of life.'

Tennis icon Leander Paes is going through a rough patch in his life post his break-up with partner Rhea Pillai and the legal battle for custody of his eight-year-old daughter Aiyana.

The Champions Tennis League (CTL) seems to be a blessing in disguise for the 41-year-old. Paes, who is part of the Punjab Masters franchise, said: "Right now, I am right at the crossroads of life where I am affected both personally and professionally.

There are lots of responsibilities and I have to make sure that I fulfill those to the best that I can and then move forward. It's very tough to strike a balance between the two.
