Brussels:Justine Henin will not play for Belgium in the Fed Cup against the United States, joining Kim Clijsters on the sidelines. "With my advisers, we decided not to play in 2007. We took the decision because of the very heavy calendar," Henin said on her website on Sunday. The 24-year-old Henin is currently second in the rankings and will resume her season in Paris this week. She pulled out of the Australian Open for personal reasons and announced she was getting a divorce soon afterward. Clijsters, No 4 on the WTA list, is in her farewell season and pulled out of the team competition, saying her schedule was too heavy and she needed time to plan for her marriage later this year. The United States and Belgium play the first round on April 21-22 at Delray Beach, Florida, and the pullout of Belgium's top two players makes the job a lot easier for the Americans. Belgium's third best player is Kirsten Flipkens, who is ranked 104th. Henin and Clijsters both played the Fed Cup last year and Belgium reached the final. However, Clijsters was injured for the final against Italy, and Henin was forced to pull out with a knee injury in the decisive match, handing the title to Italy.
