No need to worry about World Cup: Srikkanth
Krish Srikkanth said despite some recent disappointing performances, the preparations for the forthcoming World Cup were going ahead smoothly.

"The players are doing well, selectors and the BCCI are also doing their best," he said.
"Every series is like a World Cup for us, You (media) are talking about future we are talking about the present," Srikkanth told reporters on the sidelines of annual awards function of Sports Journalists Association of Nagpur here on Sunday.
"We are a sporting talent and you don't know who will emerge from behind to make a mark in the World Cup," he said.
Citing examples of the previous cup, Srikkanth said Mohinder Amaranath, Kirti Azad and Madan Lal were nowhere in the picture but emerged from behind the scene and did their best.
Selectors are keeping an eye on all important cricket matches be it under-19, Ranji and Irani trophy matches to pick up the right talent for our future cricket.
Talking about injuries that have hit the Indian team, Srikkanth said injuries are part of the game and sometime it is difficult for right replacement at the eleventh hour.
About Saturday's match against Sri Lanka where India lost, Srikkanth said,"we lost wickets at crucial time."
He, however, complimented youngsters for doing well.
