Kolhapur:
ICC president Sharad Pawar on friday rubbished the allegations that environmental norms were flouted for renovating Mumbai's Wankhede stadium, which will host three World Cup matches, including the final on April 2.
A PIL filed in the Bombay High court has contended that the permission for revamping of the stadium has been given without considering the environmental issues.
"Some people can only make allegations. They can't do any constructive work," Pawar told reporters here.
In the three matches to be played at the Wankhede, New Zealand would take on Canada on March 13, followed by the fixture between the Kiwis and Sri Lanka on March 18 and the summit clash.
